I promised
you a testimonial to be read at your group, so here goes:
"After
seeing the success that my brother and niece ( Mike & Valarie) had with the
Medifast Program, I decided to give it a try. I'm 58 years old, 5' 10 1/2"
inches tall, and a month ago weighed 206 lbs. I told Terri that I wanted to
lose between 10 to 20lbs. She assured me that it would be "no
problem." I was impressed with her confidence.
Today when I
weighed myself, the scale ( a good, accurate, "doctor's" scale) read 186 lbs. Success!...and it's been easy.
I've ordered
another month's worth of Medifast so that I can go into the transition phase.
My daughter Karla, a former show figure skater, has also ordered a month's
supply as she has said she doesn't know of
anyone who hasn't lost weight with Medifast...and that now includes her
dad!
At no time
during the past month did I feel hungry or deprived. I am a chocoholic, so
every day at 3pm I had a chocolate shake. For dessert at night I had
chocolate pudding. Both times, on all occasions, I felt completely satisfied.
My clothes
fit so much more comfortably now. I've always been an athletic, active
individual but carrying 206 lbs was too much for me. In addition to the foods,
I hit the gym, did a bit of cycling, and played my drums. Playing drums for an
hour is the equivalent of running a jack hammer for a half-hour; they did a
study on how many calories are burned by drummers. On the nights when I would
play in excess of two hours or "pushed it" a bit at the gym, my 5
Medifast meals were sometimes 6...I think a couple days when I did the gym and drumming it might have been 7--still
I've been successful! If I listened to my body, it told me I needed the extra
calories for that day.
I would
recommend the Medifast program for anyone--unequivocally."
